Refund Policy

Refund & Cancellation (Online/Offline)

  1. In case of any technical issue found in online fee payment, such as:
  2. During the online payment through credit/debit card if the payment gets debited and the internet goes down due to some external server malfunction or any other similar happening.
  3. The system fails to generate the required acknowledgment due to internet malfunction.
  4. We shall not be responsible in any case until the course fee paid by student or parent is credited into the Bank Account of the institute. If credited into our account, the refund policy will be applicable as per the norms.
  5. Refund applications will be accepted ONLY in cases of change of stream, medical reasons, transfer/change of residence etc.
  6. The refund application will be acceptable with valid documents in condition of:
    • A. Change in stream (Commerce and Arts)
    • B. Admission in college
    • C. Any unavoidable medical emergency
  7. Administrative Fee (10%) and 'Study Material Fee (15%) of current year is not refundable under any circumstances post confirmation of admission
  8. Refund will be calculated on Discounted Course Fee i.e the fee paid without GST or any other tax for all courses (JEE / NEET / Foundation) irrespective of the scholarship earned through Admission Test at JANM Educational Society/concession being given at the time of admission.
  9. If the student takes refund within the first month, then only the first month�s fee will be deducted along with the non-refundable components of the fee. Thereafter the refund will be initiated from the month of refund application (Irrespective of the date). The refund will be calculated from the month of admission taken to the month of the refund application sent @ refund.query@janm.afpms.in e.g. if student has taken admission on 1st July, 17th July or 31st July of any month then the entire July month will be counted.
  10. The cost of services utilized is calculated based on the following formula: (Sum of Tuition fee + Online Support + Exam Fees) & (No. of months service has been availed) / (Duration of course in months). The total duration of a course depends upon the batch commencement date.
  11. The refund related to the cases financed by loan companies will be processed only after the clearance of finance company. JANM Educational Society wishes the student would complete his/her course without any interest charges on loan and JANM Educational Society take care of this additional cost for the welfare of its students. However, if a student opting for refund from course that has availed finance loan; the subvention charges will be taken care by the parent/student.
  12. The entire refund process includes various department levels and accounting process. Hence it takes around 45 to 60 days to process the refund.
  13. There will be a virtual meeting (video call/zoom) between the parent of the student and online academic operations team after the refund application is received. It is compulsory to attend this meeting and complete all the necessary formalities to process the refund application. In some cases, multiple meetings may be required to reach out to an amicable conclusion.
  14. JANM Educational Society will follow its standard protocols to gauge the genuineness and authenticity of the reasons raised by a parent for seeking withdrawal. Hence it is compulsory for a parent to submit proofs of all reasons cited in the withdrawal request. Also, JANM Educational Society will contact and clarify any information published in the documents submitted from the parent and/or the authority which has published the documents.
  15. Student/Parent applying for refund has to submit a written application mentioning the exact reason(s) of withdrawal at the centre where the student is studying. Refund requests made verbally or through phone/SMS shall not be entertained in any cases.
  16. Please note that in case a student has less than 80% attendance till the time of submitting the withdrawal application, no refund will be processed.
  17. The date of submission of application will be considered as the last studying day of the student and not the day on which the student stopped coming to the Institute for classes.
  18. There will be a meeting of the student & parent with the centre staff after the withdrawal application is received. It is compulsory to attend this meeting and complete the necessary formalities to process the refund application. In some cases, multiple meetings might have to be set up as a follow up to the above meeting.
  19. The date of commencement of Program will be considered as the starting date of the Program & not the joining date of the student in the Institute for calculating the refund.
  20. The refund rules are universal even
    • a. If the student joins Late.
    • b. If the student doesn�t attend even a single class after depositing the fee.
  21. Refund cheque (if any) will be made in the name of the student/either of the Parent only.
  22. JANM Educational Society management reserves the right to reject any refund application without any reason, whatsoever.
  23. The entire refund process includes several Centre level, HO Level and Accounting process. Hence it takes around 45 to 60 days to process the Refund (if any).
  24. If the fee is refunded through a finance company, the responsibility for repaying the loan rests with the parent, and it is expected to be done in a timely manner.
  25. If a student who has availed a finance loan opts for a refund from the program, the subvention charges (approx. 10%) will be the responsibility of the parent or student.
  26. Additionally, the charges for the two T-Shirts (Rs.3000/-) and one Bag (Rs.1800/-) will be deducted from the already paid fee (excluding GST).

IMPORTANT POINT TO NOTE

  1. Please note that JANM Educational Society reserves the right to expel a student from the class, if we feel that the student is not working hard, creating indiscipline, using unfair means in tests or absent for more than two weeks without prior information. In certain extreme circumstances this may even lead to termination of the student from JANM Educational Society. No fee or part of the fee will be refunded in such cases. The decision of JANM Educational Society Authorities in this regard will be final and binding on the students & parents.
  2. We expect a decent behavior from the parents & students during any interaction with teaching as well as non-teaching staff of JANM Educational Society. Any parent/student found misbehaving with any of our staff at the Institute might lead to the termination of the student from JANM Foundation.
  3. Please understand that the student fee is needed to be paid on time and JANM Educational Society cannot keep reminding the student/parent for the fee. It is the duty of the parent/student to ensure that sufficient balance is present in their bank account on the due date of installment. Please don't expect reminders from JANM Educational Society regarding this. Please note that if a student fails to pay the fee by the end of the month of due installment date/month, the name of the student might be struck-off from the roll-list. If this happens then the student will have to pay readmission fees.
  4. Please understand that non-clearance of any of the Post-Dated Cheque(s), submitted towards fee installment (as mentioned in the selection letter) is liable for Legal Action. In such cases, the student will have to pay Rs. 1000/- fine along with the amount of the installment.
  5. If the student has enrolled in any program of JANM Educational Society at any time then JANM has the right to publicize the result of the students as JANM Educational Society may deem fit. In order to be eligible for the reward provided by JANM Educational Society on the basis of JEE and NEET result, the student must submit their admit cards to their respective Centre In-charge as soon as they receive them.
  6. Please note that change of Batch or Teacher is a very difficult process as it is dependent on several factors. Hence a student/parents� request for change of Batch or Teacher might not be processed immediately. However, we will try to accommodate all the genuine requests in the best possible manner as the earliest.
  7. Facilitation, Transfer and re-admission charges are non-refundable.
  8. All disputes will be resolved in jurisdiction of Jaipur.

IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT REFUND CALCULATION

  1. Refund amount will be calculated on the Actual Fee i.e. the fee paid without GST or any other Tax.
  2. Entire Program Fee is divided into Admission / Administrative Fee and Advance Fee. Admission / Administrative Fee written on various JANM Educational Society forms is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE. Advance Fee is divided into quarterly fees and first* month Fee.
    • A. If the student withdraws before the start of the initial month, then only Admission / Administrative Fee (+ GST) will be deducted from the Total Paid Fees.
    • B. If the student withdraws within the first* month of the start of the Program then Admission / Administrative Fee + First* Month Fee (+ GST) + T-Shirts Charges + Bag Charges will be deducted from the Total Paid Fees.
    • C. If the student withdraws after the initial month, then Admission / Administrative Fee + First* Month Fee + Total Completed Quarters Charge (including the Quarter during which the application was submitted) (+ GST) + T-Shirts Charges + Bag Charges will be deducted from the Total Paid Fees.
  3. Quarterly fee will be deducted for the quarter in which the application is submitted irrespective of the fact that the application is received on the first or the last day of the Quarter.
  4. If the student has received any scholarship, then the refund calculation would still be done as per the amounts mentioned in the table. This means quarterly charge and other charges will not be reduced as per the scholarship while calculating the refund.
  5. Please take admission in JANM Educational Society, only when you are fully satisfied with all the systems at JANM Educational Society. A lot of resources are procured in advance for the students who are taking/ have taken admission. Student/Parents must realize that a student who leaves after taking admission, disturbs the remaining system and hence withdrawal is strongly discouraged.
